Two holes drilled through near front of plastic nose cone on opposite sides plastic merge line. Kevlar threaded through the holes, so stitched out of the top of the nose cone. Then, roughed up outside top of nosecone (the plastic) with 60 grit, applied epoxy to cover the stitch with microballoons and let set using gravity to help shape into nice rounded blob. You'd never know there was a set of holes in the front of the nose cone now.

Backup attachment is to the side, using a technique similiar to loc precision's mounting loop.
