Well Tim, so far no cracking, this rocket flew over Mach 1 and still in great condition (the paint)...I will be using it for my Black rock rocket also. I do polish and wax all my rockets like 5 days after painting, so the paint is dry. I do use automotive primer before I put the final coat on. But again Tim, I'm not a professional junky in paintjobs, my rockets have to fly high and fast, and a crack does not bother me.

Is that paint prone to cracking or does it need some special preparation? They told me it's too brittle for rockets.
