This is the top bay bulkhead and housing for radio transmitter.
The black area is carbon fiber PC and is the coupler for the nose cone.
The transmitter can fit down the tubular area. The transmitter actually fits in up-side-down so that the antenna is in the white area as carbon fiber inhibits radio signal.
