Definitely a visual that I took too much risk on this launch - I was chomping at the bit to test deployment. I won't launch with that much wind again, unless I'm in Kansas or somewhere really wide open.
I've had that happen with my Nutcracker, but it has a much larger diameter chute, so it's more expected.
the January launch was pretty bad too. they had to stop some launches so flyers could retrieve rockets before they blew away or got in way of pads! that's why I only flew wimpy rockets that day!
